Ms. Smith earned her master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University and has successfully passed the National Counselor Examination through the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is currently under supervision with Pam McMichen as she works toward full licensure in the State of Georgia. Deja is trained in trauma therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidence-based interventions. She enjoys working with diverse populations and continues to broaden her clinical skills and experience across a wide range of concerns and treatment approaches. Ms. Smith is caring, empathetic, and deeply committed to improving the quality of life for each client she serves. She is passionate about supporting underserved communities and approaches counseling with kindness, professionalism, and respect. Her work is led by a Christian worldview, and she welcomes clients of all backgrounds, working collaboratively to help them meet their goals and needs.
