Ms. Nakanwagi earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Truett McConnell College. She has several years of experience in the counseling field and is currently working under the supervision of Pam McMichen as she completes the requirements for full licensure. Esther works with children, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, grief, family dynamics, and relationship challenges. She takes an integrative approach to counseling, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities and thoughtfully tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client or family. Esther is a compassionate and driven mental health professional with a strong foundation in trauma therapy and a background in sports psychology. She is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where clients of all backgrounds feel welcome and understood. Her counseling is grounded in a Christian worldview, and faith-based support is offered when welcomed and appropriate.
